The Sunday Currently : Volume IV Featuring HS Bffs

For almost a couple of years , I wasn't able to continue publishing my versions of The Sunday Currently  for so many valid and lame reasons. Now, that I get to finally say I'm totally free this Sunday so why not do my share of TSC challenge  because why not? ahahah! And so here it goes. :)

Reading
. . .  the last few chapters of History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera , a book given to me by a used-to-be- student-now-a-very-great-friend, Joshua G. :)

Writing
. . . important reminders for my February page in my newly crafted bullet journal which soon I will be sharing a part of it to you so soon.

Listening
. . . to Ed Sheeran's Perfect.  What more can I say about it? Perfect is such an understatement of his song , and I seem to still can't get over him being engaged. ohhhhhhhh! Finally Ed , finally!

Hearing
. . . the affectionate barking of my preggo Peruvian Inca Orchid dog , Riri .

Thinking
Our beauty queen bff's bday, Stellar Rose, @ Yammy.
. . . of how blessed we are to celebrate one of our closest friends, Stellar's birthday and as to how we, four,  actually there are five of us since Apple is not around the city, are so much blessed in our friendship in which soon enough will be turning a couple of decades. ahhhhhh! I just love the idea that they never seem to leave despite of the tests of time and the change of our surnames. hahahah These highschool bffs , Stellar , Annie , Carmel , Apple are truly for keeps. For life.

Smelling
. . . the invigorating aroma of the cup of coffee seated right beside my laptop as I am making progress in this Sunday currently volume.

Wishing
. . . to have an entire month doing nothing except for eating, reading, blogging and repeat hahahah! Just a month of dilly dallying is definitely a good idea.

Hoping
. . . for the end of February to finally come

Wearing
. . . this pink less presentable terno which is good enough to do weekend errands.

Loving
. . . the idea of  "the husband's"  coming home and us finally moving out :)

Wanting
. . . to start decorating a house, may it be an apartment or not. Geeeez! just  so giddy about it!

Needing
. . . few more things for the soon to be abode :)

Feeling
. . . so in love with this lazy Sunday I get to enjoy in my room, the best comfort zone I have as of now, for an entiiiiiiiiire day.

As my mini series of resolutions, goals, etc., continues today , I thought of sharing to you guys six words I want to focus on this year. These words are what I hope to embody as I make my way through the hurdles of life.

On Poetry: The Beast That Resides in You

Having enrolled in a Poetry class in your MA, it is for sure expected that you have to produce an output of your own. And so here goes mine, both the original and revised version.

The Beast That Resides In You

by Cee Brensan

Fear is when you cease to try,
To try the things that will make you cry.
You cry for you may not give your best;
For in your mind you have the biggest beast
But dear friend, I'll tell you one advice,
It is the Fear, in you resides.

Original photo of the output I submitted ahahha!

For Twenty-Eighteen : RESOLUTION

Welcome, Bountiful 2018! A new year has just finally started and we have just been given another 12 chapters to unfold with 365 chances to take. As much as I'd like to say that this photo below is what I wanted to be this year.

Yet, there are a few very simple things I'd like myself to be reminded of all throughout 2018.

1. Blog more often. I love to write, I love to ponder even on the smallest objects and make lifelong realizations about them. However, all those write-ups are just resting in my journal. Another is that for the past years, I mean ever since I started blogging, I'm never that updated. So this year, I'll try to have my random inkling  published in here and to be able to blog a lot.

2. Have cellular load. Always. My attention was caught last year for not just twice because of not being able to answer so important texts and calls from our school principal and department head for such very lame reason. Not only them but few close friends and my family know this for sure. hahahahha! So, yeah! That's definitely a MUST for this year. :D

3. Be very health conscious. As we were waiting for the New Year's Eve to come so we can finally enjoy our Media Noche food, plenty of things actually went running wild, like some kind of a beast, in my mind. Then, it dawned on me that I had been hospitalized for two consecutive years ( 2016-2017). Hence, for this year, I will really try to be very vigilant with the kinds of food that I'll have to partake, after all it's really true that "You are what you eat."

4. Be more forgiving. I think that's just what the world needs so we'll be able to live in perfect harmony. Yet, it all starts with the man in the mirror for sure. I'm not telling this because I haven't been a forgiving kind of person, I actually am. Very . However, I believe I have to double or even triple it so I would be able to radiate it to others.

5. Love myself as hard as rock. :D  This is the year I will try to love myself much more than I did for the previous years. Not in a way that I will no longer think of others or become insensitive of their feelings, but in a way wherein I will have to make myself my first priority . When I really wanted to do something, I will do it regardless of the negative approach and perspective others may have. It's just one or the other after all. Either I'll succeed or fail. And if I fail that'll make me a better person as lessons are always at peak when one fails. Hence, I will surely make myself my top most priority because at the end of the day , I AM my longest commitment. :)

What about you? Comment down below your NY Resolution. :)
